Work Saturday

Grandma Suzy painted the kitchen cabinets today. Poppy and myself went to the church today for work day. The kids did some Easter projects. One was nests made from paper grocery bags.

Afternoon at NOC

It was a beautiful day today so we decided to go to NOC and hike a little and let the kids get their feet wet.

Kids out in tent

The last few days the kids have been using umbrellas to make shade to color in. Today I went and got there tent for them. They have been out here since lunch. I think they are enjoying it.

Connor on Monkey Bars

We had to got to Waynesville so we went to the park and had lunch. We didn't know that Connor could do the monkey bars.

Connor lost another tooth

Connor just lost another tooth. He has been pulling and pushing on the thing for the last couple of days. Here is the before and after.

Beautiful day

Poppy and I sanded the deck today and the kids got a chance to play outside and enjoy the weather.

Braces Day

Well we set off to Waynesville today to get Genavieve's braces on. Well we got there and the expander did not fit. So they just put on the brackets but she was still very excited.

Other than that we had a beautiful day with temperature around 80 degrees. We got some spring cleaning and maintenance do around the cabin.

Head to Asheville to try and get so computer business.

Maria's BDay & ST Patricks Day

Well Maria's birthday was today but because she had to catch a plane early this morning we decided to celebrate yesterday. In our house you get to pick the meals for the day so it was cinnamon rolls and grilled pizza with chocolate cake to follow.

Another thing that happens at our house is the Leprechaun causes trouble around the house. This year he turned chairs upside down, destroyed the kids room, and turn the following things green in the house. Milk, water, toilet water, frosting on cake and colored green on the mirrors.

Another great week

Well the week has gone good. I had to computer jobs and one is going to be a $900 job. Also heard from Toll Brothers and even though they don't fit position that I had submitted for they liked my resume and are looking for something on the Land Development side.

Today we went bowling because we had rain on and off all day. We had a good time. Tomorrow we will see how many things end up green.

Maria is Here

Well we picked Maria up on Friday late. Because Saturday was such a nice day we hung out around the house and enjoyed the outdoors. Kids played in hammock and we went for a hike.

Sunday we went to church and then took it easy. Maria got sick Early Sunday so she spent all day on couch sleeping. What a way to spent part of spring break.

Today we ate still trying to get used to the time change. Didn't get breakfast till 10:00. Anyway still praying to get an interview at Toll Brothers so continue to keep praying for us.

Blessed

We have been so blessed the last couple of days. 1st there were so job opportunities at Toll Brothers in Raleigh and Charlotte. I reached out to one of my past project managers at Toll and he his getting my resume in front of the right person. I couldn't thank him enough.

Then today I went on a follow up to a computer job and got 2 hours of billable time. Then he gave me some more.

On side not took kids for hike with Kim yesterday. Here are some pics.

Snowing

We came to Waynesville today for Genavieve orthodontist appointment and when we left Bryson it was sunny. We are here now and it it snowing pretty good. Can't get a good picture otherwise I would post one.

Just left church and it's snowing. Didn't expect that as it wasn't in forcast

Connor BDay Today

I can not believe that our little one turned 6 today. We have a tradition that on your Birthday you get to pick the food for the day. So Connor picked cinnamon rolls for breakfast, grilled pizza for lunch and then Mexican at the restaurant in Bryson City. We then had home made blueberry cake when we got home.

We also got to go see The Lorax this afternoon. We had a good day and Connor enjoyed his presents.

Beautiful 70 degrees

It was an absolutely beautiful day today. Woke up this morning with a temperature of 56 and it 70 today with the sun shining all day.

Took the kids to the Baltram trail that is nice and flat and runs along the Natahala River. We had a really good time.

Today looks like rain all day so no outside fun. Going to make it a resume day. Hoe everyone has a good day
